Advance can only display salary distributions that appear within campus payroll records, and only for academic appointments. If you are paid under a staff appointment or by a UCSF affiliate, you will not see those distributions in this section.

The displayed percentage is calculated from the information within the payroll system for your academic appointments. The chart string appears below the name of the funding source and is made up of: Business Unit-Fund-DeptID-ProjectID-Activity Period-Function-Flex Field; some of these values may be empty.
