Layout: The CV is divided into seven major sections, each with one or more headings to capture your academic accomplishments:
- General Information - includes education, work experience, etc.
- Clinical Activities - activities that involve direct patient care
- Professional Activities
- University and Public Service
- Contributions to Diversity
- Teaching and Mentoring
- Research and Creative Activities
__________________________________________________________________________
- Each section has help text within the "I" icon to help you understand the kinds of academic activities appropriate to the section
- Each section, while in Edit Mode, includes an "Instructions" link in the upper right that will help you understand how to use the Advance tools to enter and modify text
- Most sections are plain text, but Summary and Publications sections accept text formatting
- Date fields that appear on the left in edit mode are used to filter the Academic Review CV (aka Packet CV); this enables a reviewer to see only those items relevant to the review period. You should include a date in this field, but do NOT delete dates from the description fields
- Summary sections allow you to save more than one version of your summary statement. For example, perhaps your Research Summary focus has changed, but you don't want to lose the description you included in your prior Research Summary. This sections allows you to add a new Research Summary relevant to this review period without deleting the prior summary. HOWEVER, only one summary statement can be selected for inclusion in the CV. The checkbox ot the left of the field enables you to select which summary statement ot include in the CV.
